Covid-19 Safety Policy & Protective Measures
Certified Safes Ireland™ COVID-19 Restrictions Update:
On the 28th of March 2020 the Irish Government published details of businesses that are considered essential service providers under the new public health guidelines issued for the period of the coronavirus emergency.
Essential services only include security activities that directly assist in the delivery of essential services and the securing of premises now closed to the public.
As providers to the HSE, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, The Revenue Commissioners and The Department Of Communications, Safe And Vault Locks and the ICS Group are considered an essential service provider.
Compliant with the government directive we will only be offering the following services until further notice:
- Emergency call outs to directly assist in the delivery of essential services and the securing of premises closed to the public.
- On-line orders to be shipped to any address nationwide provided without installation service unless the site in question assists in the delivery of essential services or is a site closed to the public.
- Telephone and video support is available as usual.
Compliant with the government directive:
- All other installation and regular maintenance/service work has ceased.
- Our showroom has been closed to the public since March 1st.
Covid-19 Safety And Protective Measures:
As the coronavirus COVID19 outbreak continues to affect people and businesses worldwide, we wanted to assure you of our commitment to protect our clients, employees, customers and operations during this time.
Safe And Vault Locks is continuing to support essential services, however, to keep our clients and staff safe during the battle to control Coronavirus (COVID-19) the guidelines below, that far exceed what are clearly inadequate world health organisation guidelines, came into effect for our business on the 9th of March 2020.
During surveys, deliveries, installations, service calls, and all face to face contact, our staff and partners are now required to wear:
- P2 / P3 rated respirators
- Disposable gloves
Social distancing and regular hand hygiene is practised at all times.
Most equipment is disposed of directly after each client interaction. Larger P2 /P3 dual filter respirators are cleaned and disinfected in line with a NATO decontamination protocol for pathogen-laden aerosols after each use.
As well as implementing control COVID-19 measures in our warehouse regarding receiving and shipping goods, we would like to assure you that our suppliers have implemented parallel control measures at their factories and dispatch facilities.
If you need further information or need to alert us to a quarantine issue all calls will of course be treated in total confidence.
Thank you for your support!
